Hello to all. Welcome to D Visit Care Network. I am Joyce Banning and I will be your host for this very invigorating robust lifestyle show. First, I want to take time to thank each one of our listeners that have tuned in live and the ones that will be listening to the recording on their podcast. I am just so very grateful for each one of you. And you are in for a very exciting treat today because I have a returning Diva, Tracy Pierce, who is also an author in Diva's upcoming book, Animal Prince on My Soul. And I am so excited to introduce to you today Tracy Pierce. Could you please tell yours tell a little bit about yourself to our listeners today, Tracy?
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes. So hi, I'm Tracy Pierce. Thank you, Joyce, so much for having me on the show. I'm an animal communicator based in Colorado. And basically what I do is connect humans with the deeper wisdom of their animal friends so that they can resolve pet problems and help create more peace, harmony, and understanding at home. And I'm very honored to have been asked to contribute to the Divas That Care book that's coming out here soon, Animal Prince on My Soul. So I'm very excited to be here. Thank you, Joyce.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you are so welcome, Tracy, and I'm so excited to have you on my show and and to be an author in our Animal Prince on My Soul. It is just so exciting, very exciting. Well, would could you please share just some real highlights to intrigue our listeners about the story that you have submitted to the Animal Prince on My Soul book?
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. So the chapter that I contributed really talks about how I came to become an animal communicator in the first place. And it was through perhaps a bit unusual situation, which was through the deaths of three of our cats. And what really happened was one of our cats became very ill, and we had taken her to the vet and just couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. And it was around this same time that I happened to meet an animal communicator at a meditation retreat. And, you know, because we hadn't been able to figure out what was going on with our cat through the vet, we decided to do some communication sessions with her. And it was really through that process that something started to reawaken in me. And I call it a reawakening. Like some people might feel like they're learning something for the first time with animal communication. But for me, it really helped me remember what it was like to be a kid where I felt like I had more connection with animals and could really hear what they were saying. And that first cat that got ill, she did eventually pass away. But what I learned through animal communication with her through that process really like sparked this interest in going further with it. And as it happened, I mean, when my husband and I first got together, we we had four cats actually, and and by the time this this happened, we had three. And then through the last through the last years, I guess you could say, or last months of the other cats' life too, I really found that this helped to improve my animal communication skills. And it also gave me a really unique perspective on grief, death, and dying. Because anyone who's an animal lover knows when they, you know, if they've lost an animal, it can feel just as painful, if not more painful, than you losing a human friend. And I feel like I really learned a lot about the death process, and that's a lot more what I go into in the chapter that I contributed.
SPEAKER_02Oh, wow. Oh my, that sounds so interesting because as you said, each one of us that is a pet has a pet in our family, when we lose them, it is just like losing a member of our family. And to be able to have a story to kind of relate to help help others deal with that is awesome. That is something that we as uh do not want to think about with our pet families because we love them so much for them to leave us in physical form. So it's it's a hard it's a hard one to do. So that your story will be very touching and very interesting for others to read and very helpful for others. Oh, that is that is great, Tracy.
SPEAKER_00And yeah, I really hope it can be that for sure.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I'm sure it will be. I can just tell from just chatting with you the feeling because your heart is in this. Your heart is in this story and in what you do, and that will come across to the readers when they read the story also. I love that. I kinda gather from in what you've said that these the cat that you're talking about in this story or the cats really impacted your life in a way that made you realize that animal communication was where you were led to go. If you followed your sounds like if you followed your heart, it's what it was telling you. Am I understanding that in a correct way?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's interesting because I really had never planned on becoming an animal communicator. And it was through that first cat in particular, made me very interested to learn more. And it still, as this progressed, it wasn't until a few years later that the animals I was talking to were like, hey, you should offer this publicly. It really was just for for my own learning to begin with, and you know, to le use my logical mind. There's no way I would have become an animal communicator, but I guess it was really the animal suggesting it and then looking in my heart and being like, Okay, yes, this is the way that I can support animals in an even bigger way than I have in the past, and to be a part of that.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yes. Oh, definitely, because you you speak from the heart and you hear what the animals are saying and can help others with their animals. And it's it's a win-win because you help the animals along with helping the rest of their family that they are living in. Oh, it what a rewarding feeling that must be when you know you have touched multiple lives in one session.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. And it really is about supporting everybody who who's going through the death process, you know, because the animal that's in hospice care m may need certain adjustments or things, but the humans and even the other animals who are who are healthy need support as well. So to be able to support that from an animal communication standpoint is actually a really uh very touching place to be for me.
SPEAKER_02Oh yes, yes. I can I can only imagine that would be a very touching touching situation and a hard one, but yet a rewarding one to be able to help others like that. Oh wow. Well, you being an animal communicator, do you have quite a few animals in your own personal life, in your own personal family right now?
SPEAKER_00Well, it's interesting. Things have have been a little mixed up for me in the last couple of years with moving. And um like I said, when my husband and I first got together, we had four cats, and before we made a big move kind of across the country, our last cat happened to pass away, and we were moving. I'm sure people have been in the situation before where it can be quite challenging to find housing depending on your situation. If you have pets, so when we moved here, we actually moved into a situation we were living with housemates, and there were dogs and cats sometimes there that and turtles too, I forgot about them, um, that I would take care of. And so we never we never got any more pets of our own right away. And then we ended up moving to a beach for a while, and there were there were donkeys and horses and other dogs wandering around all the time. And we've recently moved to a different place where actually right at the moment we don't have any animals living with us, but I do a fair amount of pet sitting. So it's it's kind of like I have extended pet family all around the area and I get to go hang out with them. So as soon as things maybe normalize with our housing situation a little bit more, I I would really love to have another cat come live with us again, but uh you know, it can just be a little challenging sometimes when you're renting, you know.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes. Well, I love to hear how you said your pet sitting. So you feel like um it's kind of like um in the human world, you have nieces and you have nephews, and it's like with you, your pets sitting, so you have your pet families and that you can go visit and be with and spend time with when you are not able to have them of your own in your own environment. And that is, I mean, to me that is a good way to express to the listeners that love pets and love animals, but they can't have them in their life right at this time. It's not something that's going to work, but they can still reach out and be around these animals in different ways and maybe not just have them living with them. So to me that's a great example to explain to our listeners to give them an idea if they want to be around animals and are unable to have them at their point in life right now living with them. So that was beautiful. That is great.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's it's a great way to get the pet fixed w without all the huge responsibility all the time. Uh-huh. It's kind of like being an aunt, you know, and s aunt and sister be a parent, right?
SPEAKER_02Exactly, exactly. You get all the joy and the fun of being around them and not all the responsibilities on a daily basis. Oh, how awesome. Well, what is um what has it it been like in your life to be around so many different animals? Because you named different animals when you would move, and like now, pet sitting. How how do you feel that has made a change in your life by being around so many different kinds of animals like that?
SPEAKER_00Well, it's interesting because you know, when I was a kid, really I just grew up with cats and dogs, and we never really had any other pets besides that. And yeah, so it's really given me a chance to to step out of, I guess, my comfort zone, you know, like living with I lived with turtles for three years. I had no idea how interesting turtles really were. And it's just given me a chance to connect with so many different kinds of animals. And you know, I'd never lived on a ranch before. I I lived at this place and had had you know daily contact with donkeys and horses, like that hadn't been the normal. And it it seems like it's not that you know all dogs talk this way and all cats talk this way, but I feel like different animals really have different perspectives on things. And for me, you know, coming from that really just dog and cat perspective, it really opened things up a lot to be able to get the different perspectives of of the different animals and um yeah, hear hear their viewpoints on things.
SPEAKER_02Oh, oh definitely. I I can I can hear you completely because it comes into my mind. I live on a ranch and we have cattle and calves and horses and dogs and cats and it's a different perspective from all of them and the birds even and everything. It's they all have their own uniqueness and their own uh i information and words to say to you that are so beautiful. So yeah, I can I can hear you completely and I love that. How you said it's kind of a different perspective from all of them, and it really is. Oh, that's beautiful. Well, Tracy, as listeners have listened today and are going, oh man, I really like what Tracy is talking about. I'd really like to connect with her. How can listeners contact you? What is the best way for them to connect with you?
