And I am just so excited today to have with me a returning diva, And her and I are going to talk about her upcoming story in Divasect Care's upcoming book soon to be released, Our Mothers, Our Daughters. Omai, are you all in for a very, very special show? So, Shiva, could you please introduce yourself to our listeners today?
UNKNOWNOkay.
SPEAKER_01Yes, of course. Well, first I want to say thank you for having me. I'm always honored and thrilled, you know, to be a part of this huge, what I call a movement. And I'm Sheba. I consider myself the empowerment queen. Sheba actually is an acronym, and it stands for She's Better After It All. So this is my mantra. This is my mission and my purpose. I help women discover that that through it all, she is better after it all.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I love that. I love that she is better after it all. That is just beautiful. Oh, Sheba, this is incredible. Thank you. You are so very welcome. Well, what inspired you to submit a story to our mother's, our daughter's book? You know,
SPEAKER_01I thought about this question prior, and I'm thinking, what the heck am I going to say? You know what? I have literally empowered, inspired, mentored, encouraged, uplifted. The words can just continue to roll off my tongue. I've literally had the ability to impact, influence, add value to women all over the world, right? I mean, obviously I haven't touched every place, but pretty expansive, and I'm very honored to God for that opportunity. And so I figured I have daughters now. You know, I've been graced and given this double package, and they're twins, so that's another, you know, blessing. And so who, I mean, who deserves me, if I can say, more than them, you know? So I figured this would be a great opportunity It would be a great gift, their gift to me, and this is one of my gifts to give back to them, that I've literally written this their birth story down. And so that's what inspired me. I mean, prior when I just– I have a son. And I actually make mentions to him in the story as well. Have a son. And before having daughters, I never even thought or considered, and I used to ask my older sisters, cousins, family members, what is it like? You know, what is it like to have a daughter? The responses were pretty expansive, you know, from, oh, you know, just, you know, different things. So to have my own experience now is absolutely amazing. amazing. And so I was inspired. The moment I saw a mother-daughter, I was, I have to do this. I have to do this. I have to do this. And so I'm very excited. I'm so excited. I think it's a special connection. You know, mothers and sons, you know, we all know that that's special. But it's something different about the daughters. There's something different about the daughters.
SPEAKER_02Oh, oh, that is just beautiful. And, oh, I just love that. Your gift is And how you were, now you have two daughters rather than just one since you had twins. And oh, how exciting. And how you have inspired and added value to so many people's lives and asking others what it was like to have daughters until you had your own twin daughters. Oh, my goodness. That is incredible. What an inspiration to me. to write a story in our mother's, our daughter's book and a beautiful gift that you're giving to them. I just love that. That is very heart-touching, Sheba.
SPEAKER_01Oh, thank you. And, you know, my youngest twin, her name is Joyce. Oh, my goodness.
UNKNOWNYes.
SPEAKER_01Her name is Joyce. So when, you know, when I got the email from you, I'm like, yay, Joyce. Joyce, and she is such a... She is such– oh, my goodness. I don't want to call her like a firecracker, but she just has a lot of– she's so independent. She is so independent. She's so strong. She's very smart. She's observant. And I love that. I love the fact that the first twin, her name is Jubilee, she is so– they're so different, you know, so to experience– Two different personalities, two different people, and just to know, you know, they're still twins. I'm telling you, every day I literally count my blessings because I'm thinking that sometimes, you know, people feel as if having twins, just the natural process of it is a blessing, which it is, trust me. You know, I commend myself and I commend other, you know, women who have twins or multiples, but I always tell people the greater blessing is to experience Like, literally, just to experience their energy, to experience their personalities, to experience, I mean, just them, their temperament. To me, that's an even, and even their connection to one another. Like, you know, Jubilee, if she doesn't see Joyce, she's Joyce? Joyce, you know, and then when they see each other, it's like a whole party. You would think that they were separated for hours or days, and it could just be moments. And I'm like, I'm thinking to myself, Joyce Jubilee, you just saw her, you know. So I'm telling you, it's such a blessing. I know I can keep talking, but I'm going to stop. Go ahead, Joyce. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_02Oh, no, that was beautiful. I just love how you are acknowledging and experiencing all of this with the twins, their energies, their different personalities, and their connection like that. Oh, that is absolutely beautiful. Oh, Sheba, you are a very special mother. I can feel it coming through this chat that you have the energy and the love, and it is just beautiful. That was incredible what you shared. You are so welcome. Thank you. Could you give just, you've given a lot already that I'm like, okay, I got to read your story. This sounds incredible. Could you give a, maybe a special golden nugget from your story and that will really spark the interest of our listeners even more than what you have already sparked their interest in?
SPEAKER_01Yes, I will. And you know what? I'm going to be very transparent and honest. Either I wrote this in the story, but if not, it's going to encourage you anyway. So if you are listening, please hear me very, very, very carefully. Having a daughter is almost like looking in the mirror, right? As I mentioned before, everyone knows how much I love my, trust me, I love my son. I love my son. But just in my short time of having daughters, my twins are going to be two in August, I realized how much they soak up every single thing that I do. And it actually has made me to become a better mother. a better woman, a better wife, a better business owner, I mean, a better sister. Their existence I mean, it has added so much value because I know that four eyes, I can't say two, but four eyes are looking at me. And if you know anything about child development, you will know that children, they hear what you say, of course, but most importantly, the thing that really imprints on their hearts, their character, who they are, is what you do. So I can speak for all of the mothers and the women in the book. Hopefully they'll allow me to do this. And I'm just going to say that please pick up a copy. Your life is going to be changed. You, if you are a mother, it's going to make you hold your daughters a little bit tighter or your sons, you know, a little bit tighter. If you aren't a mother, maybe it'll inspire you, you know, to maybe at one point you'll have a family or even if you can't, you know, you can just live through someone else's experience and just be inspired to be the best auntie or whatever role that you have as a woman in our earth, in our society. So again, I hope that you're inspired to pick a copy up. I'm telling you, it's going to change your life. Joyce, thank you so much. This was amazing.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you are so welcome, Sheba. And thank you. You are amazing. I just love this, you know, how the girls of your daughters have added so much value to your life. And they are watching you, too. It's what you do. And I love that. Oh, my goodness. This was just beautiful, Sheba. Thank you again for being my guest and for contributing your very special story into Our Mothers, Our Daughters book that's soon to be released. Thank you again, Sheba.
